Marks 22 Series ornamental iron door mortise lock set.
Used primarily with steel security doors.

Important Keyway Information:
1 inch thick door option comes with a Marks "A" Keyway (Kwikset KW1)
1-¾ inch thick door option comes with a Marks "C" Keyway (Schlage SC1)

Faceplate: 1 inch x 7-1/8 inch
Blue Lock Box: 5-1/2 inch x 3-3/8 inch.
Backset: 2-1/2 inches (from faceplate to center of holes for lock or handles).
Spindle: 1/4 inch (7 mm) Square
Door Thickness: standard for 1" doors; 1-3/4" optional (may take 4-8 weeks special order)
Locks: Double Cylinder Mortise lock with 2 keys (keyed on both sides)
Handles: Round inside and outside knobs.
Colors/Finishes: Polished Brass, Satin Chrome, Antique Brass, Oil-Rubbed Bronze
Handing: Right hand reverse (if key is below handle, handleset is on the right side of the door when viewed from outside the house)

Handing Information:
The key can be installed ABOVE or BELOW the handle on OUTSWING security doors.
When the lock is inverted, it changes the locking function.

Handing CAN be changed, but it is easier to order correctly.

Note: Door can be opened from both sides when deadbolt is not engaged, except when stop-button on face of lock is engaged. Then door can only be opened from inside but is locked from outside and can only be opened with a key. Deadbolt can be engaged or disengaged with key from either side. The deadbolt deadlocks the latch.
